The Boring but Important Bit

The Tourism Reset

Last updated: March 2026

Welcome to The Tourism Reset. We're so glad you're here. This is an on-demand video platform built for those who love to learn, move through the world with curiosity, and are ready to ask better questions. From travel pros, to heads of impact and sustainability managers, hoteliers and tour operators, business owners, CEOs, students and career-changers, and everyone in between. We're a growing global community, bringing together people from different backgrounds, cultures, and corners of the industry, united by a belief that tourism can better serve people, places and nature. Education is where change begins. Knowledge is the most empowering thing we have and this is where we share it.

These terms are here to keep things clear and fair for everyone. They’re not meant to be intimidating, just a great way of sharing how the platform works, what you can expect from us, and what we’d ask of you in return. If anything is unclear, just get in touch at rebecca@thetourismreset.com.

By signing up and using the platform, you’re agreeing to these terms, but honestly, they’re pretty reasonable.

1. Who We Are

The Tourism Reset is operated by Gache-Ford Limited (trading as The Tourism Reset), a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered address at Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, England, BH16 6FA.

The Tourism Reset is an on-demand video learning platform for tourism and hospitality professionals -whether you’re a business owner, part of a team, a student building your career, or somewhere in between. Hosted on Uscreen, it brings together masterclasses, short-form sessions, and live events from some of the world’s leading voices in sustainable and responsible tourism.

You can reach us any time at rebecca@thetourismreset.com.

2. Who Can Use the Platform

The Tourism Reset is open to anyone aged 16 or over. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, we recommend letting a parent or guardian know you’re signing up.

The platform is used by professionals and learners across more than 40 countries. These terms apply to all members regardless of where you are based. By joining, you agree to use the platform in a way that complies with the laws of your own country as well as those of England and Wales.

3. Using the Platform

The platform is here for your professional development - to learn, be inspired, and think differently about the future of tourism. In return, we just ask that you:

  • Use the platform for your own learning - please don’t share your login with others

  • Don’t reproduce, copy, or share platform content publicly without asking us first

  • Keep things respectful and lawful - no use of the platform for anything harmful or illegal

  • Give us accurate details when you sign up and keep them up to date

4. Our Community

The Tourism Reset brings together people from all over the world - different countries, different roles, different stages of their careers, and very different versions of what tourism looks like where they live and work. That diversity is one of the things that makes this community genuinely valuable, and we want to protect it.

To keep this a space where everyone feels welcome and can contribute freely, we ask all members to:

  • Be curious, not combative, challenge ideas with the same respect you’d want in return

  • Make space for perspectives that aren’t yours, tourism in Nairobi, Kyoto, and Copenhagen looks very different, and all of it belongs here

  • Use inclusive language , avoid assumptions about gender, role, background, or where someone is in their career. If someone asks you to adjust your language, please just do it

  • Keep it constructive - this isn’t the place for venting, self-promotion, or selling your services

  • Respect confidentiality - what’s shared in live sessions and community spaces stays there. Don’t screenshot, quote, or share other people’s contributions without their permission

  • No hate, no harm - racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other form of discrimination won’t be tolerated. Full stop

We reserve the right to remove anyone from the community whose behaviour falls short of these standards. We won’t be entering into lengthy debates about it, but we will always act with fairness.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Plans and Pricing

We offer monthly and annual subscription plans, a student rate for those in full-time education in tourism, hospitality, or a related field, as well as individual tickets for live events. Current pricing is shown on the platform at the time you sign up or purchase. All prices are listed in GBP. If you are based outside the UK, your bank or payment provider may apply currency conversion charges or fees - these are outside our control and are your responsibility.

The student rate is available on an honour system - by selecting it, you confirm you are currently enrolled in full-time education in a relevant field. We reserve the right to request verification and to move accounts to standard pricing if eligibility cannot be confirmed.

5.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically - monthly or annually depending on your plan. Payment is handled securely through Uscreen. By subscribing, you’re authorising us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.

5.3 Cancellation

You can cancel at any time through your account settings - no hoops to jump through. Your access will continue until the end of your current billing period, and we don’t offer partial refunds for unused time.

5.4 Refunds

Every purchase here directly supports an independent platform - there’s no big company behind this, just a genuine commitment to making quality learning accessible for people who care about the future of tourism. We take that seriously, and we want you to feel confident investing in it.

New subscribers: if within 30 days of your first subscription payment you feel the platform isn't delivering what you hoped, email us at rebecca@thetourismreset.com telling us what you've watched or engaged with and what didn't land for you. We'll always read requests personally and refund in full where it's the right thing to do. This applies to your first payment only - renewals are non-refundable, so if you don't wish to continue, please cancel before your renewal date via your account settings.

Live event tickets are priced at £10 early bird and £20 full price and are non-refundable. We keep ticket prices low deliberately so that cost isn’t a barrier - but because our events involve real speaker fees and preparation, we’re not able to offer refunds once purchased. Please check the date works for you before buying. Where a live event is recorded, the recording will be made available to active platform members only. Event ticket holders who are not members will not automatically receive access to the recording.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The content on The Tourism Reset - including all videos, audio recordings, written materials, presentations, frameworks, methodologies, course structures, and event formats - is the intellectual property of The Tourism Reset and/or the contributing experts who created it. All content is protected by copyright and may not be used, reproduced, or adapted without prior written permission.

Your subscription gives you personal, non-transferable access to watch and learn from that content for your own professional development. It does not transfer any ownership or rights to you, and it does not grant permission to use the content - or any ideas, structures, or formats derived from it - for commercial purposes, including in competing products or services.

Specifically, you agree not to:

  • Record, screenshot, download, or otherwise capture any content from the platform

  • Share, forward, publish, or distribute content to any third party, whether paid or free

  • Reproduce or adapt content - in whole or in part - for use in your own courses, programmes, events, or publications without written permission

  • Use the platform to research, benchmark, or inform the development of a competing product or service

  • Access the platform on behalf of a competing business without prior written agreement

We have worked hard to build something genuinely valuable for this industry, and we take the protection of that work seriously. If you’re unsure whether a particular use is permitted, please just ask - we’re always open to collaboration and partnership conversations.

Any breach of this section may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, legal action to recover losses.

7. Live Events

Tickets to live sessions (including the Rethinking Series and any other live events) can be purchased separately or may be included within certain subscription plans. Live sessions may be recorded and made available to members after the event. If we ever need to reschedule or cancel an event due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ll let you know as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or access to the recording where available.

8. Your Privacy

We take your privacy seriously and will always handle your data with care. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly how we collect, store, and use your information - it forms part of these terms, so it’s worth a read.

We use Uscreen to host the platform and may use other tools for email communications and analytics. We will never sell your personal data to third parties. If you are based in the EU or EEA, your data rights under GDPR apply and are respected in full.

9. Uscreen Platform

The Tourism Reset is hosted on Uscreen. By using this platform, you are also subject to Uscreen’s own subscriber terms of service, which govern the underlying technology and software you use to access content. We recommend familiarising yourself with these, which are available at uscreen.tv.

10. Platform Availability

We do our best to keep The Tourism Reset running smoothly, but like any online platform, we can’t guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The content here is designed for professional development and general inspiration — it isn’t intended as legal, financial, or professional advice.

11. Liability

We care about providing a quality experience, but we do need to be transparent that The Tourism Reset can’t be held responsible for indirect losses arising from your use of the platform - things like loss of profit, data, or business opportunity.

In any event, our total liability to you won’t exceed the amount you’ve paid us in the twelve months before any claim.

None of this affects your rights under applicable consumer law in your country of residence, or our liability for anything that can’t legally be excluded — such as personal injury caused by our negligence.

12. External Links

The platform may include links to third-party websites for your convenience. We don’t control those sites and can’t take responsibility for their content, so please use your own judgement when following any external links.

13. Changes to the Platform or These Terms

We’re always working to improve The Tourism Reset, which means things may evolve over time. If we make any significant changes to the platform or these terms, we’ll do our best to give you reasonable notice.

The most up-to-date version of these terms will always be available on the platform. Carrying on using the platform after an update means you’re happy with the revised terms.

14. Account Suspension

We hope it never comes to this, but we reserve the right to suspend or close an account if someone is misusing the platform, acting fraudulently, or breaching these terms — particularly around content use, intellectual property, or community behaviour. Any terms that are meant to continue beyond that point — such as IP protections — will still apply.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes would be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are based outside the UK, this does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you hold under the laws of your own country.
